Project: Kitchen Renovation
Location: Antioch, IL
The homeowners had already started their kitchen remodel but were looking for an electrician, a fellow firefighter referred them to me. Once I completed the electrical rough-in, the homeowners said that they were unhappy with their current general contractor and asked if I would take over the project.
I brought in plumber Rick Fritz, tile installers JP Interiors and fellow carpenter Chaten Howard. As we reviewed the kitchen design, we found several mistakes in the layout of the kitchen and the cabinets that were ordered. We had to modify some cabinets, return others, and adjust the design to make it work.
Despite the challenges, Laura, the homeowner, loved how her new kitchen turned out.
